A collaborative project by KidMin360

There are many great books on Children’s Ministry (in fact, we offer most of them in our bookstore!). And last year we had many of the best KidMin leaders contribute to our own FREE downloadable ebook called The Future of Children’s Ministry. But we thought it would be fun to do a collaborative project that allows anyone to submit articles – after all, we know there are many great KidMin leaders out there that are not nationally known, but still have great experience and ideas to share with others. We’re going to call it The BOOK On Children’s Ministry.

Basically, we want to collect great ideas from YOU on many different areas of children’s ministry and share them in our book. Once we’ve received enough articles in each area, we’ll put The BOOK together in a FREE downloadable PDF (while reserving the right to publish a regular, bound product, as well).

Here are the categories we’re going to collect articles for:

Here’s how it works:

Pick ONE category you will focus your article on. You may submit up to 3 articles in 3 different categories, but keep each focused on the single particular category you are writing for.
Write your article & submit if via the form below (only 4000 characters or about 700 words will be accepted – no exceptions).
Think “leadership” – we’re not looking for the latest craft idea! Answer questions such as “What is the best idea I have for leading volunteers in the preschool area?” or “What have I found to be the best way to grow personally as a Children’s Pastor?” or “What advice would I give a young leader in a multi-site setting?” You get it!
We’ll review the article and, if we choose to include it in The BOOK, will credit you accordingly.

We’re not sure when we’ll publish the FREE PDF version with your articles, but it will be sometime in 2012. Please understand that by submitting your article you are giving all rights to it to KidMin360. It may or may not be published in the free version. It may or may not be published in a bound version we offer for sale in the future. Whenever it is published, you will be credited.
