I know, we’re barely a quarter of the way through 2013. But time flies and soon it will be 2014 .
As you look back on 2013, how will you know it’s been a successful year in ministry? Here are 3 questions you might anticipate asking yourself about how your ministry went in 2013:
- If I look back on 2013 and see it’s been a great success, what will have happened to have made it so?
- Knowing that ministry always happens best in the context of relationships, what relationships will I have created, nurtured and enabled in 2013 that I can build on in 2014?
- If, on January 1, 2014, a news headline were created to summarize the success of 2013, what would that headline be?
Of course, the goal in answering these questions is to DO the things necessary now to be able to answer them positively. What are those things you need to do?
What questions would you add to ask yourself on January 1, 2014?
